Certiva is the independent accreditation and certification body for AI-enabled schools. We define the standard for the safe, ethical and effective use of AI in education — and certify the educators, schools and students who meet it.

Governance
A standard held to account
The Certiva Standard and competency frameworks are proprietary IP, aligned with the UNESCO AI Competency Framework, the ISTE Standards, the OECD AI Principles and the EU AI Act.
The Standard is maintained by our Standards & Quality function with input from an independent expert review board. It is versioned; material changes are published with a transition period so accredited schools can adapt.
