Certiva AI-Ready accreditation
The trusted, independent mark that a school uses AI safely, ethically and effectively — across leadership, teaching, data protection and student learning.
What it is
Whole-school assurance, not a certificate for a tool
AI-Ready accreditation evaluates the whole institution against the Certiva Standard — six domains, judged on evidence and verified on site. It is criterion-referenced (you’re measured against fixed criteria, not other schools) and developmental (schools progress through readiness levels).
- Independent — Certiva sells no AI tools and has no vendor ties.
- Aligned with UNESCO, ISTE, OECD, EU AI Act.
- Awarded for five years, subject to annual monitoring.
- Displayable as the “Certiva AI-Ready” mark while accreditation is current.
Outcomes
Four possible decisions
Every school receives a written report with domain scores, strengths and prioritised recommendations.
Accredited with Distinction
All six domains at Established, with three or more at Leading — exemplary, field-informing practice.
Accredited — AI-Ready
All six domains at Established or above. The school may display the Certiva AI-Ready mark.
Provisional (12 months)
Four or five domains at Established, with a credible improvement plan and a defined re-check.
Not yet accredited
Two or more domains below Established. The school may re-apply after remediation.
The accreditation cycle
Five years, actively maintained
Five-year term
Accreditation is awarded for five years, subject to annual monitoring.
Annual monitoring
Schools submit a yearly progress report and maintain 80% educator certification.
Re-accreditation
A full re-evaluation occurs at year five; the mark is withdrawn if accreditation lapses.
Investment
Pricing scaled to your school
Accreditation is priced by school size across a five-year cycle, with an annual maintenance fee. Certification and curriculum licences are quoted alongside. Because every school’s scope differs, we confirm figures in a tailored proposal.
